The "pêche à la mouche" pick-up

Inspired from the model used by the world-renowned guitarist, this new model has been produced for the 100th anniversary of Django's birthday, and includes many technical improvements on its predecessor.

It is now possible to play "magnetic" on gypsy strings without any volume difference between plain strings (E B) and wound strings (G D A E)

The pick-up is specially designed for the type of strings used on gypsy guitars (for gypsy strings only!).

The mounting system works with a leaf spring and is easily fixed on the instrument with the volume potentiometer near the top (here is an example)

A second spring of different length is supplied and can use the same pick-up on "big hole" guitars.

The leaf springs are screwed under the pick-up.

 The magnetic pick-up "peche a la mouche" will not fit on all "gypsy" guitars. The height of the end of the fingerboard must be, at least 1/4" inch (6,5mm). Our pick-up does not fit "Gitane" and " Aria" guitars. (fingerboard too thin). For other reasons (location of the brace under the soundboard), the pick-up will not fit some "D Hole" gypsy guitars (Grande Bouche). If in doubt, please contact us !
